E-Wallet’s national auditions this Sunday

E-Wallet Talent Search for 25 contestants goes into national auditions on Sunday in Malawi’s commercial city, Blantyre.

The place, Sunbird Mount Soche, is likely to be filled with echoes of competitors and the audience in various acts identified from Mzuzu, Blantyre and Lilongwe.

The national auditions will see 20 out of the 54 contestants being booted out by a panel of judges comprising Marvin Hanke, Dumisani Mfune and Angella “Tigris Mizinga.

The show has 27 males and 27 females competing for the 25 places.

E-Wallet’s project coordinator Anthony Kafuwa said the show will be launched on the 29th of September 2012 at Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe.

He said prior to the launch, the footage of the whole auditioning that took place in the cities of Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre will be beamed on MBCTv from September 1st.

Kafuwa said the 25 finalists who will proceed to national auditions are to undergo extensive training from well trained choreographers, musicians and dancers to equip them for the game.

He also disclosed that E-Wallet has a Facebook page, E-Wallet talent show, for more information on the event.

“Contestants need to have the will to take their talent to another level and not just winning the money,” said Kafuwa.
