The Eagles go into this match on 16 points just like second-placed Moyale Barracks who welcomed rookies Karonga United yesterday.

A win today could see the cops, who welcome back captain John Banda, Phillip Masiye and Micium Mhone from national team duty, move up on a superior goal aggregate. Mafco were before the game placed fifth on 13 points.

At Chitowe Stadium in Dwangwa, Mafco host Blantyre United whose veteran coach Alex Masanjala would be looking for his first win since replacing sacked Mario Gadaga.

Mafco coach Stereo Gondwe is in confident mode having managed two away wins, including at Civo United last Sunday, urging his charges “to believe in themselves and build on this.”

Blantyre, who have lost the spine of their squad to poaching, have had a struggling start to the campaign  lying 12th with just two points from six games or 540 minutes of football.
