Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) secretary general, I would feel ashamed that in this day and age, I am advocating that public servants that do not support my party should be victimised.

Oh yes! I would realise, if I were Ecklen, that is exactly the picture I painted when I said most government departments have anti-DPP members and that there is need to tread carefully to ensure that the party and its members do not suffer.

How I wish I were the DPP SG, because I would realise that Malawi is no longer a one party State and therefore, its citizens are free to belong to a party of their choice without fear of victimisation.

If I were my brother Kudomtoni, I would accept that all Malawians, regardless of their political affiliation, are entitled to work for the civil service.

All I am saying is that if I were bwana Kudomtoni, I would appreciate that while it is DPP that is governing, it is not proper to run the affairs of the country like an estate because all Malawians pay tax.

That is if only I were my brother Ecklen Kudomtoni. Unfortunately, I am not that fella. DPP woyeee!!!
