Ecobank commits to support Must

Ecobank has said it is committed to promoting national development through education.

Speaking on Wednesday after visiting Malawi University of Science and Technology (Must) campus in Thyolo to appreciate its shortfalls, Ecobank media brands and communications officer Lumbani Misoya said the bank believes in supporting national development through the grooming of educated citizens.

Said Misoya: “Must approached us to support them and we came to find out what they urgently need. Education is the backbone of national development.”

The bank has since pledged to donate furniture for the university’s library and some classes. In the picture, Ecobank and Must members of staff touring the university premises.
