Egypt donates to Health Ministry

Health service delivery in the country is expected to improve following a donation of medical equipment from Egypt, Principal Secretary for Ministry of Health Chris Kang’ombe has said.

Kang’ombe said this in Lilongwe when he officially received the donation from the Egyptian Ambassador.

“The donation is a boost to Malawi’s health system because our hospitals need medical equipment and regular updating of machines for better service delivery of healthcare,” said Kang’ombe.

In his speech, Ambassador Aly Mohamed Aly said Egypt will continue working with Malawi in many sectors where there is need for improvement.
