EUAmbassador to Malawi Alexander Baum bids farewell
European Union Ambassador to Malawi Alexander Baum on Thursday bade farewell to staff following the expiry of his tour of duty. Other than staff, however, he also bade farewell to orphans from Village of Hope.
The Delegation of the European Union has been supporting the orphanage with material resources over the past three years and the orphans went to the Delegation’s offices to show their appreciation to Baum underwhose leadership the two organisations have forged a relationship.
“We are happy to make a contribution to the children of Malawi, who are less privileged and we hope they will become strong members of the society,” said Baum.
