Evicted housemates think Wati will win
Two evicted housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Stargame say Wati has high chances of winning the $300 000 (about K81 million) top prize.
Ghana’s model Keitta and Alex from Kenya were evicted during an electrifying show on Sunday that saw Wati Kulemeka surviving his strongest test.
After garnering three votes from his home country, neighbouring Zambia and South Africa, the lad made it to the finals of Africa’s leading reality TV show as he is the last head of house.
On Monday, Wati used his head of house powers to save himself and put up Uganda’s Kyle instead with just two weeks to go before one housemate’s life changes into a millionaire on August 5.
Other representatives on possible elimination are Jeanette from Uganda and three consecutive time eviction survivors Namibia’s Lady May and Kenya’s Prezzo.
In a telephone interview on Monday, Keitta hailed Wati for being consistent throughout the game.
“At no point in time has Wati P ever changed, he has remained true to himself and that makes him a biggest contender for the jackpot,” he said.
“Much as it is a game, it is important for one to remain true to thyself and that’s what Wati has been doing. Of course other housemates like Lady May, Prezzo and Keagan can pull through to win. Every housemate remaining in the house has got equal chances of winning and so all of them need the prize money, I would be happy for anybody who wins but, I will be extremely happy if Wati P wins,” added the self-acclaimed King of Pranks.
Alex was also full of praises for the Malawian lad.
“Right after I was evicted when IK asked me who you think will win, I said and I will repeat Watipaso. He is my man for he has remained true to himself. I know the decision of who should win remains in the hands of Africa, and I just hope I am on the same page with the viewers.
“You know there are some people in the house who are fake by doing things for the camera but not Wati. He has been so consistent and therefore good material for the prize money. I just hope Africa sees this,” added Alex.
Grand finale
Other than Wati, South Africa’s Keagan and Zambia’s Talia are also through to the finals and only two from the nominated four will join the trio for the grand finale.
Jannette, Kyle, Lady May or Prezzo could leave this week
There are just 13 days of Big Brother StarGame left, and the housemates seem to have united on a common theme – Wati & Prezzo must go! The duo picked up four nominations each, while Jannette and Lady May picked up two apiece.
Once Big Brother had announced the results of a pensive day of nominations on Monday night (8.00pm on Africa Magic, DStv Channel 114), Head of House Wati chose to save himself and put Kyle up in his place.
He then joined his fellow housemates and asked them to “get the girls” as they went into the Jacuzzi.
