SRFA chairperson Raphael Humba yesterday said all is set for the grand occasion which will be graced by the league’s new sponsor Nsejjere Sports and Casual Wear president a Nasar and another representative from Uganda.

Humba also said as of yesterday arrangements were being made to invite the district commissioner for Machinga as guest of honour as well as FAM president Walter Nyamilandu.

Surestream will get a K1.5 million prize and a crystal trophy which they will keep for good.

“As earlier promised, they will also get 500 each; replica jerseys, caps and jerseys for sale to help them meet costs of participating in the Super League,” said Humba.

Runners-up Cobbe Barracks will receive K750 000 while third-placed Max Bullets will pocket K500 000.

Surestream technical director Peter Mponda said although this afternoon’s match will be of academic interest, they are taking it seriously.

The predominantly Under-20 side has contributed goalkeeper Bright Munthali and midfielder Ernest Tambe to the Flames squad that is expected to go into camp today in preparation for a friendly match against Tanzania later this month.
