The Bankers have lost twice consecutively; the latest being 3-1 clobbering by Mafco on Saturday to go down to fourth from bottom. Rookies Mzuni anchor the table.

Silver coach Stan Chirwa has since insisted that there was nothing unusual losing two games, adding that the season is still in its morning.

Up the table, Red Lions lead the standings on superior aggregate while sharing six points with the Eagles and third-placed Big Bullets and Mafco on fourth.

On the individual chase for glory, John Malidadi Junior for second-placed Blue Eagles has scored  four goals in two matches, followed by the likes of Peter Msowoya of Surestream FC and Be Forward Wanderers’ Muhamad Sulumba with three goals each in two games.
