According to SRHL vice-chairperson Geoffrey Biya, the men’s category will get into the quarter-final stage on Saturday before the semi-finals and the final on Sunday while the women’s section will get into two-day round-robin games to identify the champions, as they have only one group.

During the men’s quarter-finals on Saturday, Genetrix A, who topped group-A with 12 points from four-straight wins, will face their B side, which finished on second place in group B with eight points from five group matches.

In the other last-eight encounters, Group B leaders Falcons will take on Group A runner-ups Nyala whereas group A’s third-placed outfit Braves will play against Group B’s fourth-positioned Changalume Barracks.

Group B’s third-placed Scorpions B is expected to be up against its A side, which is fourth on the ladder in Group A with two points from four matches.

In the women’s section, the battle will be among leaders Sports Complex Simba, Genetrix Ladies A, Genetrix B and Scorpions Ladies. n
