Skeffa Chimoto, who was last week appointed Gotv brand ambassador at an event held at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre, will have the privilege of being sponsored by Multichoice on the Ndilandireni video from his upcoming DVD.

Apart from sponsoring the video, Skeffa will also have the previledge of all shows from the areas where there is Gotv network being advertised by Multichoice, and his wardrobe being managed by the company.

The Chinamuluma Chakuda hit-maker is also expected to record a theme song for the brand.

In an interview with The Nation, Multichoice marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda said the signing of Skeffa as Gotv’s brand ambassador gives brings the brand closer to Malawians.

“Music has always been a powerful tool in bringing communities, families and brands together. The signing of Skefa is our continuous effort to support local talent,” said Nyirenda.

Skeffa described the partnership as a breakthrough in his music career adding that the positions will help him break through new markets.

“Gotv is in many countries as well, so this gives me a chance as an artist to be heard in Africa and beyond. At the same time, it is a sign that people are appreciating my music,” said Skeffa.

The award winning musician also said the endorsement deal will help improve the quality of his video and music as he will be assisted in a number of things.
