2013 TNM Super League dropout Kabwafu United seem to be heading for a second sneak into the top league having restored its top display in the premier league.
The team is now topping the Northern Region Simama League with 40 points from 14 games played as the league approaches week 10.
Chilumba Barracks is on second position with 38 points from 15 games played above Mzuzu University Football Club which has the same points but with less goals.
Chalaghala is anchoring the table.
Head coach for Kabwafu Zondiwe Chirwa said they have a long way to go, hence could not comment much about their current success.
“Of course, we are leading the log table, but it will be nasty to comment more at this level.
“However, our aim is that we should sneak into the Super League,” said Chirwa.
