Kasasa Golf Club will today, Friday hold an annual general meeting (AGM) at their base in Dwangwa, Nkhotakota.

In a telephone interview on Wednesday, the club’s outgoing chairperson Daniel Mvura said the meeting will, among other things, provide a platform to members to reflect on their performance and also look into its finances.

Said Mvura: “Since our financial year ran from March 31 2011 to March 31 2012, we have to sit down to see how we fared in running the club’s affairs. After that, we shall elect a new committee.”

He said the AGM is vital because it will help the club to continue performing better and meet its objectives.

Meanwhile, Mvura has indicated that he will seek re-election.

The committee whose tenure has ended include Andy Mdoka (vice-chairperson), Edmund Halse (green keeper), Barbara Halse (secretary), Kondwani Mphulla (vice-secretary) and members Justin Dzinkambani and Andy Stewart.
