Failed to replicate their inspiring form of the last campaign: Kamuzu Barracks

Kamuzu Barracks (KB) coach Kenwood Nkhoma says he is trying to strike a winning formula for his charges who

have failed to replicate their inspiring form of the last campaign.

“I am working out here and there trying to find a winning formula. Hopefully, it will work,” said Nkhoma, whose side take on Silver Strikers in Dedza on Sunday.

Nkhoma rejoined the team last month to link up with co-coach Charles Kamanga after returning from Malawi Defence Force (MDF) foreign mission.

But results have not been forthcoming as KB lie on a distant ninth position with 17 points from 16 games. KB drew 1-1 against fellow soldiers Airborne Rangers on Sunday.

It was a second draw since Nkhoma reunited with the team having also drawn 1-1 with Epac. Last season, KB were a big hit. The team won the Carlsberg Cup which was their first top flight silverware.
