Kidd Mkandawire at Mount Soche

Kidd Mkandawire reunites with Vita Chirwa and Kalimba Band in a series of shows continuing  Friday night at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.

The Denmark-based star is in Malawi without his award-winning First People crew but has the backing of his old-pals in Kalimba. He was part of the pioneer cast which conquered international airwaves with the hit album Sometimes I Wonder back in the 1980s.

They will brighten a dinner and dance showcase at Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe tomorrow night. On Sunday, they will wind up the tour with a jazz afternoon at Capital City Motel on Sunday.
