After entertaining college students in Blantyre last month, Carlsberg Malawi, through its Coca Cola brand, takes the inter-college social weekend dubbed Kuphaka Life Campaign to Mzuzu University (Mzuni) on Saturday.

Carlsberg Malawi senior brands manager (non-alcoholic beverages) Titha Mbilizi told The Nation that the Coca-Cola Kuphaka Life Campus Campaign brings entertainment to college students while they enjoy the company’s products.

“The campaign wants to bring people together to create, share and experience moments of happiness,” she said.

The event in Mzuzu will bring together students from Mzuni, Mzuzu Technical College, Livingstonia University, Malawi College of Accountancy (Mzuzu Campus) and the Malawi Institute of Journalism (Mij).

Mbilizi said the campaign will start in the morning with sporting activities and end in the evening with music performances.

Musicians expected to perform include Nepman, Blakjak, Home Grown and the Dare Devils.

“We encourage people to come and have moments of happiness. It will be a fun filled day of activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, fulaye, Play Station gaming and music performances,” she said.

Kuphaka Life Campaign kicked off on February 28 at the College of Medicine Sports Complex in Blantyre where, Mbilizi said, over 2 500 youths attended. It will then move to Lilongwe on April 25.n
