The cover story you carried on Kwangu Liwewe, who started out as a reporter and ended up heading the West Africa Bureau chief for eNews Africa is nothing short of inspirational. Reading through her interview, I could tell that she truly loves what she does and she puts her all into her career. She is now reaping the rewards of her hard work!

I hope other women learn a thing of two from Kwangu in terms of work ethic and passion for what they do. I have been closely following Donald Trump’s the Apprentice and the one thing I have learnt from this mogul is that passion is everything and being aggressive in your words and actions not only shows how much you want something, it also propels you towards your goal. How many women carry this passion within them? How many are not afraid to speak up and speak out?
