Luanar in climate change management drive

In an effort to enhance climate change adaptability in the country, the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Luanar) has embarked on a capacity building for managing climate change programme.

Through the programme, Luanar is currently training lead farmers and agricultural extension development coordinators drawn from across the country. Luanar Deputy Vice-Chancellor Emmanuel Kaunda said the training will provide an opportunity to participants for integrating adaptation into development planning for more climate resilient investment. —BONIFACE PHIRI
