Malawi Vice-President off to Singapore
Malawi Vice-President, Saulos Chilima left the country on Tuesday for Singapore to study the Singapore Public Sector Reforms in-depth.
The Vice-President, who is also the chairperson of the Public Service Reforms Commission, has been delegated by President Peter Mutharika to lead a team on public sector reforms.
Chilima left the country through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe at 13:30 hours.
According to the Press Office of the Vice- President, the Southeast Asian country is one of the highly rated nations that have successfully implemented Public Service Reforms, hence the importance of the study visit by the Vice-President and his delegation.
Chilima is expected back home on March 19 2015.
