MAM completes strategic plan
The Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) says it has completed its strategic plan and will launch the road map document soon.
MAM general secretary Sheikh Dr Salmin Idruss Omar, who could not commit on when the launch will be held, said the strategic plan envisages an improvement in the association’s infrastructure throughout the country.
“Most of our schools, centres, health clinics and networking facilities are dilapidated, to the extent that they threaten the lives of beneficiaries. The deplorable condition of our resources demoralises and thwarts our determination to provide optimum use of human resources available before us. The five-year plan is expected to address such issues,” said Omar.
He called on well-wishers to support the association to enable it achieve the targets in the plan.
