Maneb appoints director, deputy

Malawi National Examinations Board (Maneb) has appointed Augustine Gundula and Jack Chalimba as director and deputy director respectively. According to a statement from Maneb, the two reported for duties on June 2 2014. Gundula previously worked as lecturer at University of Malawi’s Chancellor College while Chalimba was director of examinations at Maneb. Former director Roy Hauya resigned last year following revelations of a massive examinations leakage.—EDWIN NYIRONGO
