Miss Lilongwe finals next week

All is set for the 2012 Miss Lilongwe finals at Crossroads Hotel on Saturday next week.

According to Mates Models and Team X1, the September 29 pageant envisions bringing talented young girls into the mainstream of the modelling industry.

“We also want to give the girls a platform to showcase their talents,” said Team XI leader James Ibrahim.

Ibrahim, popularly known as DJ Scarper, said the patrons will party with the beauties at Zanzi Bar after the finale.

He said 15 contestants have confirmed their participation. They will showcase their skills in tradition, office, casual and dinner wears.

Neither Ibrahim nor Mates Models events manager Robert Banda hinted at the prizes up for grabs.
