Chrispin Moliati and his challenger Henry Muyaya at the weekend sealed the commitment for their bout when they signed a contract in front of promoter Mike Chitenje of Mulanje Last Boxing Promotions.

The ceremony took place at New Nkhwazi Lodge in  Newlands along the Limbe-Thyolo Road where the fight will take place and the two pugilists had a brief exchange of verbal crossfire.

“This bout will go past the first-round for the sake of the fans because we do not want them to feel cheated; otherwise, he is not my class,” said Moliati.

But Muyaya refused to be intimidated and countered: “I will teach him a lesson that will shut him up.”

This will be Muyaya’s first fight in the professional ranks, having fought as an amateur for over 10 years. His opponent, Moliati, boasts of 26 professional fights of 23 wins, two losses and a draw.

According Chitenje, the two will fight in light walterweight category.
