Credo Events Planners and Coordinators have planned a fun filled day on Monday for mothers and daughters at Sunbird Mount Soche in Malawi’s commercial city, Blantyre, to commemorate Mother’s Day.

Fawzia Osman of Credo Events  Planners and Coordinators said the event aims at creating an opportunity where mothers and daughters spend quality time together.

“Credo Events Planners & Coordinators have decided to have a unique or one of its kind celebration, something that will leave everyone asking for more. An event never done or experienced before,” said Osman.

She said the day will start at 10 am with a brunch in the lush gardens of Mount Soche. There will be activities such as awards, music, makeovers, talks, photo shoots, poems, a fashion show and scripture reading.

“There will be a renowned and a professional make-up artist Marium Sadiq who will do make-up for mothers before and after pictures. Mothers will be serenaded and entertained by the superb Mibawa Band. They will also hear motivational talks from respectable women in different professions,” said Osman.

The show will be spiced by recitals by poet Chigo Gondwe-Chokani, a fashion showcase of summer fashions by Cathy Kamthunzi and recipe sharing and cooking tips from former Big Brother representative Hazel Warren.

According to Osman, this will be the best and ultimate way to spend this year’s Mother’s Day.
