Mtimaukanena to face Kenyan on May 31

Top female boxer Agnes Mtimaukanena-Mwando is set to square up against Kenyan opponent Rukia Nasarite on May 31 in a non-title middleweight bout at Robin’s Park in Blantyre.
The bout has been organised by Alufandika Boxing Promotions, according to Agnes’ husband Brian.
“Arrangements pertaining to the bout are almost through and both boxers have intensified their preparations,” said Brian.
Agnes ended her two-year break from the ring last month when she outclassed Tanzanian Amina Mhubira, a victory she says, gave her confidence.
She has a record five wins, two losses and a draw while Nusarite has a record of 17 fights of which she has won five, lost eight and drawn four.
