Muzu Lions Club to construct rehabilitation centre

Mzuzu Lions Club has plans to construct a rehabilitation centre in the city of Mzuzu. Speaking in an interview on Saturday night at Sunbird Mzuzu, club president, Lion Kenneth Malema, said they are currently sourcing funds for the project. Said Malema: “We have already acquired land for the project. The centre will ease the problem of people from Northern Region travelling to Kachere Rehabilitation Centre in Blantyre to access treatment for such diseases as stroke.”— MARTHA SANDE, Staff Reporter
