“TNM has sponsored us with K1.5 million for cycling kits. We thank the company for the support,” he said.

Munthali said the kit comprises jerseys, helmets, boots and cycling pads.

Cycling Federation of Malawi president Andrew Mkwezalamba thanked Mzuzu Cycling Club for being resourceful to secure such funding.

TNM head of Northern Region Richard Kwatiwani said it is his company’s wish to promote various sports disciplines in the country.

He said his company has also set aside K2 million in support of the Tour de Dwangwa Cycling Race.
