South Africa-based red-hot midfielder Robert Ng’ambi has said he is exercising caution in Mamelodi Sundowns’ advances for his signature, saying there are many factors that he needs to consider.

Ng’ambi, who plays for Platinum Stars, said he is aware of the interest shown by Sundowns and SuperSport United to take him on board following a series of vintage displays that helped his team win MTN8 and the Telkom Knockout.

“Sundowns spoke to me informally about it, but the issue is now in the hands of my manager. Suffice to say I do not want to rush to sign at the expense of my career.

“It is not all about money, I also need to see if I could have a chance for game time which is important in my career,” said Ng’ambi who is in the country on holiday and will be wedding this Sunday in Blantyre.

He also said as at now, his loyalty and commitment are to his current employers, Dikwena.

“I still have a year left on my contract and my focus is on helping my team improve in the PSL,” said Ng’ambi.
