NGO decries teenage pregnancies

Save the Children, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has said increasing cases of teenage pregnancies in Mangochi are a menace that should be addressed urgently. The organisation’s project manager Frank Mwafulirwa said this recently at Mangochi Town Council Hall when briefing members of district executive committee (DEC) on a Norwegian Agency for Development (Norad)-funded project to be launched this week. The project will target the areas of health and education in Traditional Authority (T/A) Makanjira in the district. —AYAMBA KANDODO, correspondent
