National Initiative for Civic Education (Nice) Trust has asked community and religious leaders at Ulongwe in Balaka District to champion mindset change for the country to achieve Malawi 2063 (MW2063) goals.

Speaking on Thursday during the orientation of the MW2063 and mindset change at Ulongwe Resource Centre, Balaka district civic education officer Henry Zekariah said mindset change is the key enabler of MW2063; hence, the need for leaders to populariseit.

He said: “As influential leaders in your constituencies, you need to change people’s traditional way of thinking or doing things.

“Instead, encourage them to embark on modern farming, businesses and other undertakings that can generate income to transform Malawi as MW2063 pillars stipulate.”
