Mighty Wanderers on Saturday launched an SMS ‘Noma Yathu’ 1010 promotion.

According to Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao, the initiative is aimed at raising K200 million by February next year.

“We urge our fans to be sending SMS to Noma 1010 to TNM where they will be asked some questions and if they give correct answers they will be winning prizes ranging from Vanette minibus as a grand prize.

“Other prizes include fridges, cookers, plasma TV screen, branded golf and T-shirts, cartons of Kukoma cooking oil, among other interesting prizes during the monthly draws,” said Butao.

He said K200 million would be enough to run the club for three years.

TNM senior business development officer Abraham Zulu applauded the Nomads for the initiative, saying they would help the club in its endeavours.

“TNM is ready to help clubs as they did with Big Bullets and will be doing the same with any club that might have such SMS promotion initiatives for them to raise money,” said Zulu.
