Dear Ms Gloria Jeremiah,

I am extremely intrigued by your boldness in declaring that you have a cure for Aids. Are you honestly convinced that you have found the cure to a disease that affects more than 34 million people around the world? Because claiming that you have the cure, claiming this much-needed promise of hope, places the lives, hopes dreams and aspirations of 34 million people, very heavily on your shoulders. Is that something that you can comfortably live with?

I am suspicious of your claims. They have been so many in the past: Malawian George Kumbuyo and Chambe, Tanzanian retired pastor Ambilikile Mwasapile, South African Zeblon Gwala of Ubhejane, Gambian President Yahya Jammeh—the list goes on…and now you?

All the past fake cures were herbal remedies, just like yours, what makes yours so special? Then you refuse to reveal your “special tree” because you want it patented first. Is this just a smoke-screen to prevent proper analysis? Or are you patenting it for personal financial gain? Or you plan to make this patent available for all to use free of charge?

So, what really is your intention? You apparently sell this drug at K4 000 ($16) a bag. That fact that you sell this drug leads me to believe that you do so for financial gain which I find confusing… wouldn’t someone who has found THE CURE of all time give it away for free, thereby saving the lives of millions? Where does the costing of K4 000 come from?

Why call it Garani MW 1? What is Garani? And does the 1 mean there will be a 2? I must congratulate you on the name though it does have an air of “pharmaceutical” to it. Sorry…sarcasm becomes me when I doubt the virtues of the person I am dealing with.

From the various articles I have read about you, you have a Masters Degree (either in Public or Environmental Health..it was not quite clear). I am a scientist and you may be one too…so help me understand scientist to scientist.

As scientists we make claims based on evidence. Evidence that has been gathered through rigorous unbiased experiments. Now you claim your Garani MW 1 Herb has undergone testing, what kind of testing? Clinical trials, lab testing? What outcomes were you looking for? Viral load? CD4 count? Morbidity? Quality of life? And to what extent can you say significantly that the results you have are as a result of people taking Garani MW 1. Confounding factors and control groups is something that I am sure you learnt as part of your Masters Degree programme.

Ms. Jeremiah, I have a great deal of doubt and a grave level of concern on what you are touting. Have you honestly and scientifically irrefutably found the cure for Aids or…are you simply preying on the lives of the innocent?
