One of the promising international defender Panganeni Ndovi is set to revive his career after being kept out for two seasons by a career-endangering knee injury.

Ndovi injured his knee anterior cruciate ligaments and meniscus while playing for Silver Strikers against Civo United on November 12 2011 in Lilongwe.

But in an interview from the capital city on Thursday, the former Chanco and Big Bullets player ruled out a reunion with the Bankers.

“I have been playing on a small scale until the resumption of the registration period, but I will never play for Silver again,” he said without elaborating.

Ndovi was touted as the next big thing waiting to happen for the Flames after making some sterling displays for the Flames’ B side.

The lanky defender works in Lilongwe and looks to play for the city’s Super League sides such as Civo United, Kamuzu Barracks, Blue Eagles and Epac.
