Pasuwa gets less than most coaches in the region

FCB Nyasa Bullets coach Kalisto Pasuwa could be the highest paid club coach on the domestic scene, but he gets far less than his peers in some countries in the region, according to Weekend Nation findings.

While the Zimbabwean gaffer gets $5 000 [about K5 million] followed by Mighty Mukuru Wanderers mentor Mark Harrison, who gets a $4, 500 (about K4.5 million) clean wage, in South Africa, recently fired Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane was the highest paid as he was getting R800 000 (about K46.9 million).

Highest paid on the local scene: Pasuwa

According to All football news.com, the second highest paid coach in the DStv Premiership is Mamelodi Sundowns’ Manqoba Mngqito, who reportedly gets R600 000 (about K35.16 million).

In Zimbabwe, the highest paid coach is Highlanders’ Portuguese coach Jose De Oliveira Brito who gets $7 000 (about K7 million) net.
