Project Innovation Centre (PIC) has begun sending potential manufacturers to other African countries to exacerbate their knowledge of the production of various products before they venture into local-level production.

Currently, the Centre has sent Olipah Gondwe and Mercy Dossa to Zhongkai International in Lusaka Zambia to learn about methylated spirit production.

Its Chief Executive Officer, Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira, said another group of 10 is expected to leave for Rwanda and Kenya next month.

“We have started Sending potential manufacturers we trained to other African countries to learn more and appreciate the setup. The purpose is to motivate and empower them more,” said Ngwira.

In recent months, PIC has been conducting free manufacturing trainings in the country’s major cities.
