Pink World, one of Lilongwe’s top notch fashion bridal boutiques, has organised a fashion show that is billed to define the Malawi bridal sphere.

With a variety in all forms of fashion, including dinner, African, wedding and bridal couture for both male and female, as well as accessories and beauty products to match, Pink World is slowly proving to be a fashion guide for many. pink-world

According to the owner, Blessing Christian, the fashion event is aimed at, among others, contributing towards the Malawi fashion landscape.

“The major objective of the event is to sell Pink World to people in terms of what we offer. The shop wants to contribute something towards the fashion industry that is why both during the event and after, we will be working with local designers.

“Through the runway, people will get to see what they can find in our shop. From African to Asian bridal wear as well as wedding dresses, we all have it. Mind you, we do not necessarily import everything in our stock as some of the outfits or accessories are made by Pink World,” said Christian.

The fashion event will take place on September 5 at the Bicc. Meanwhile, auditions to come up with models for the event took place on Saturday.

“We are looking for 10 female as well as five male models who will join our permanent models. We will also work with different local designers who will have a mini exhibition on the day.

“On top of that, we will design three dresses; African, Asian and for a wedding which will be auctioned during the event and all proceeds will go towards charity, whereby they will be donated to a cause of my choice, “she said.

Pink World also runs Pinkilicious bridal magazine, whose second edition comes during the fashion event.
