Predictions to earn fans mobile phone handsets
A mobile phone handset is at stake for each of first five fans to, through TNM-to-TNM text messages, correctly predict today’s warm-up match between Flames and Bafana Bafana in South Africa.
Active Promotions In. Limited of Blantyre are running the promotion which started on Saturday at 8am and ends at 1pm today, said the Blantyre firm’s technical director Gift Nyirenda.
“This will be an ongoing competition to eventually extend to other sports disciplines. We want, through such promotions, to encourage fans to follow Flames games and make informed opinions on the team’s performance,” said the former FAM general secretary.
Nyirenda said his firm is running the promotion with the blessing of TNM who also sponsor the Super League. To participate in the promotion, one must text to 51400 using codes such as fw, d and bw standing for Flames win, draw and Bafana win respectively.
The TNM handsets at stake are G1101 model and each text message costs K50.
