Premier Bet upbeat on 2015 performance

Sports betting company, Premier Bet, says it has registered substantial growth in performance in the just ended year.

He said there has been a good response from the Malawians, citing that this has benefited the Malawi government realise more revenue channeled from betting.

He said: “We started with seven outlets in February this year, but the number has over the month increased to 28 in response to the positive response that we got in the 11 months of our operations.”

McNally said the betting firm also offered employment to the young people of Malawi and a source of entertainment to the soccer fraternity in the country.

He said in 17 countries in which Premier Bet operates, the number of people that follow international games especially the English Premier League (EPL) are higher in Malawi as compared to other African countries.

Looking ahead, McNally said the company has plans to extend its foot to Lilongwe, Zomba, and other areas across the country to provide more Malawians the chance to bet on their favorite sport activities and win big prizes.
