Blantyre Youth Centre (BYC) and Cobbe Barracks in Zomba will be centres of attraction today as they host the Southern and Eastern regions finals of the Presidential Netball Championships.

According to Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) general secretary Carol Bapu, 18 teams will compete for two national finals slots at BYC while 10 outfits will do it at Cobbe.

“I can confirm that the games are on this weekend at BYC and Cobbe Barracks. Netball lovers should throng to these venues in their large numbers to witness exciting battles,” she said.

The Central and Northern regions already identified their national finals representatives.

Defending champions Complex Tigresses were seeded for the national finals alongside Diamonds and MTL Queens from the South; Blue Eagles Sisters, Civonets and Mafco from the Centre, and North’s Karonga Queens and Lameck Queens.
