Professor jets in tomorrow

 

South Africa’s musician Professor, set for shows in Blantyre and Lilongwe, jets into the country Friday, Chez Ntemba International Club proprietor Kayembe Kalonje said on Tuesday.

 

 

On arrival, Professor will perform at the refurbished Blantyre Chez Ntemba before hitting the road for Lilongwe.

 

“All is set for the do. DJ Professor will be in the country on Friday and dish out the music for his Malawi fans, who wanted him back,” said Kalonje, who owns 40 clubs across Africa.

 

Professor, who is accompanied by compatriot Fribane Manthe, award winner of the Red Bull dance contest, will perform at the Blantyre hot spot, which has been renovated to the tune of K40 million. The spot has four dance floors.

 

The club’s entertainment manager DJ Bwanamkubwa said fun-seekers must brace for a lifetime experience.

 

Said Bwanamkubwa: “Last time he was here, he performed for 45 minutes, and that was professional. Since Malawians wanted more of him, we are negotiating he performs longer.”
