Psychiatric murders herbalist

Police in Ntchisi have arrested Joseph Kambwiri, from Mwamulo Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Malenga in the district over the death of herbalist Robert Yesaya, from Chibaka Village, T/A Mankhambira in Nkhata Bay. Ntchisi Police spokesperson Gladson M’bumpha said, Kambwiri, a well-known psychiatric, went to the deceased’s home in the same village at around noon on September 7 and severely wounded him in the head and chest. “Yesaya lost a lot of blood and died before he was taken to hospital,” said M’bumpha.—RACHEL KACHALI, Staff Writer
