Queens’ coach expects tough game against Uganda.

Malawi Queens’ coach, Peace Chawinga-Kaluwa, has said her charges are ready for the showdown today with Uganda in the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games to stand a chance of reclaiming the sixth position on world rankings.

She said she is expecting a physical game as both teams dare to get the better of the other.

In an interview, Chawinga-Kaluwa hinted that she would maintain the same starting line against Trinidad & Tobago during the Wednesday game in which they beat the Caribbean Island nation 70-30.

Malawi lost their sixth position on the world rankings after Uganda beat them last year in a pre-Africa Netball Cup games in Namibia.

Later, the She Cranes displaced the Queens after winning the Africa Netball Cup on goal difference after the two teams settled for a draw.

Probable starting line-up: Caroline Mtukule, Towera Vinkhumbo, Thandie Galeta, Bridget Kumwenda, Martha Dambo, Sindi Simtowe, Mwawi Kumwenda.
