Tipped to enjoy game time under Hunt: Ngalande

South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side BidWits coach Gavin Hunt has given his word that Robin Ngalande is in his plans for the forthcoming season.

Speaking in an interview with SABC’s Soccer Zone programme recently, Hunt said the Flames forward has all the absolute essentials of a complete striker and should, therefore, easily fit in his plans.

“The lad has skill, is versatile and can play anywhere—be it in the wings, behind the strikers and even as a lone striker. He is very good.

“I have been quite impressed with what I have seen of him during pre-season and don’t forget he played in Spain for Atletico Madrid’s youth side,” said Hunt.

Hunt’s comments will come as a boost for the 21-year-old striker who was relegated to BidWits’ reserve side last season when they were coached by veteran Clive Barker.

Ngalande’s manager Paul Mitchel expressed optimism that his client would enjoy game time with the coming of Hunt.
