“We take on the responsibility of rehabilitating the pediatric ward and supporting it with various donations, demonstrating our commitment to giving back to communities.

“The club consistently consults with the hospital’s guidance to determine the essential items needed for the patients. We will continue conducting fundraising activities to ensure that we can meet the ongoing needs of both the patients and their guardians,” she said.

On her part, nurse in charge of the pediatric ward at Qech Elizabeth Mgawana expressed gratitude for the donation, as it will contribute to meeting the needs of both patients and their guardians.

“We admit many patients who come from various districts across the country, and their extended stays at the hospital create significant pressure as they require a multitude of essential items.

“We appeal to other well-wishers to support us with various resources, such as medical supplies, to enhance our ability to provide proper care to patients,” she said.
