Sand Festival kicks off in Salima; Busy Signal to perform today
The 2015 edition of Sand Festival started on a slow but promising note last night with hordes of revellers trekking to Sunbird Livingstonia Beach for three days of massive fun and entertainment.
While sound check dragged all the way to 10 pm on the main stage, that did not dampen the mood of fans who had arrived early for a marathon of fun.
They kept themselves busy with a treat from award winning artist Agorosso, real name Lloyd Phaundi, who set the mood in full swing with his acoustic prowess.
Life moved to the main stage with the Nalero hit-maker, Nepman, luring fans to the pinnacle of everything the moment his name was announced.
From then on, the Sand reverberate d with the sounds of music in rhythm with fans’ dancing antics as more artists shone through their performances.
But today is the big one! Jamaican dancehall reggae star Busy Signal is set to perform to the multitudes that continue swelling the shores of Lake Malawi.
