Apart from donating two sets of uniforms, Nsejjere also handed over to Silver 2 000 replica jerseys.

“We are happy to renew our partnership with Silver Strikers Football Club as they embark on transforming the club through commercialisation and rebranding. We all stand to benefit a lot in this relationship. The more you sell, the more we will provide,” said Nsejjere chief commercial officer Nanfuka Aishah.

Silver acting general secretary Fred Kalonga said his club is confident of making the sale.

“We have a fan base of about 600 000 across the country and these will buy the replica. This gives us hope of a successful partnership with Nsejjere,” said Kalonga.

FAM second vice-president Pikao Ngalamira urged Silver supporters to embrace commercialisation through purchase of Nsejjere products.

“The best support is to buy merchandise of your club. This is what has transformed clubs globally,” said Ngalamila who bought two jerseys.

The replica jersey, which has a prominent TNM log on the front and Nsejjere emblem on the upper breast, is selling at K6000.

Nsejjere promised to provide free sets of uniforms every season on condition that Silver continue to sell replica shirts.
