Soldier Lucius Banda in Ireland

Lucius Banda is expected to give Malawian diasporas a feel of life back home when he performs at the Miss Malawi Ireland finals on Saturday.

The self-styled ‘Soldier of the Poor’ flew out on Tuesday for the annual beauty pageant at Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, in Dublin. He signed out with a concert, organised by Youth Association for Democracy (Yadema) at Mungo Park in Lilongwe on Sunday. —JAMES CHAVULA
