Sunset have started Central Region Pool League (CRPL) second round on high after registering the highest victory margin so far on Sunday.

They beat Zero Degrees 10-2 in their second round opener at the former’s backyard. At half-time, Sunset were leading 5-1.

The victory has taken them to 3rd position.

Other results, Alliance One collected maximum points from two assignments. On Saturday, they beat Grittaz 8-4 whereas on Sunday they won 7-5 against Michigan, who lost by the same margin to Red Sea the previous day.

Alliance One put up a second-half splendid performance to bag the points. At half-time, they trailed 5-1.

FIB started the second round with mixed fortune. On Saturday they beat Top Level 7-5 and slumped to Mango with the same margin on Sunday.

Incognito, S5 Ladies and Siege beat Gulliver, Snipers and JTI 9-3, 8-4 and 7-5 respectively. S5 beat Keta 8-4 whereas Mango thumped Ndatherapano 9-3. Hakuna Matata were 7-5 victors against Falls.

CRPL general secretary William Nyirenda said the second round has started on competitive pace as evidenced by the scores.
