The Peter Mutharika Southern Region Football League’s (SRFL) First Division champion Surestream Academy are beefing up their squad in readiness for action in the Premier Division.

The team’s technical director Peter Mponda told The Nation that their promotion to the Premier Division will require a bit of toughening up with an experienced Premier Division star and two First Division lads  to maintain the outstanding record they achieved in the lower division.

“We expect tough action in the Premier Division, so we want at least three experienced players to give confidence and morale to our youthful squad. We are still in the process of identifying such players,” said Mponda.

Surestream Academy completed the 2013-14 season of the SRFL Division One on 78 points. They lost only four of 38 games they played.
