Surestream give Chilomoni children Christmas treat

Surestream Academy on Christmas Day gave 50 children from Chilomoni Township in Blantyre a Christmas treat when it hosted them to a luncheon at its premises in the township.

According to the academy’s technical director and former Flames captain Peter Mponda, the gesture was a token of appreciation for the support they get from the children whenever FC Surestream are playing in the Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Premier Division league.

“These kids have become part of the team which they see as their own. The gesture is also part of the spirit of the sharing in the festive season,” said Mponda. FC Surestream top the league.
